He had separated from his girlfriend with whom he was married, and it was a band show called Matrix, the singer went out to drink water, he wasted no time and got up on stage, and said:“Here, now it’s me!” He picked up the microphone and started yelling, shouting, took a letter to Suicidal Tendencies sort of on the improvisation. He was falling on top of everybody, kind of boring drunk, but then a brat called him and said, “We’re in need of a vocalist, don't you want to take a test tomorrow? ” The guys took the test at 2 pm, he arrived at 11 am. They gave him the lyrics, and it was in English, so it was difficult to him, because his English is limited to name of skate maneuver, and a little of cinema.  Then one of the members taught him so so the music, the music and the band called What’s Up. He bellowed, bellowed, bellowed, and when he left, he heard the guitarist saying “It's better we don't fix it”. Two days later, they were going to record for a compilation of radio 95, from Santos. The band had already sent a tape with that song and was selected, but in the meantime they fought and the vocalist left the band. About the album, the band did not say anything to him, and when he went to the studio, he had been singing for two or three days. And he was very hoarse, after the test, the guys said, “Cool, your voice does not end!”. He arrived home with no voice and stayed like that two days. He record without any voice and even like that it was cool, he screamed the most, even the studio guy praised him: “This guy is very funny, he sings jumping, this brat has a personality, he does not know to sing anything, but he goes far”. But the record didn't was finished, no one know why. When the band’s What’s Up bassist left the band, Chorão met Champignon, the new bassist, Champignon was 12 year old at the time, who was to become a band partner in Charlie Brown Jr.
